the rod will get bent if you extend it.
Oh,,, there are 2 extra brackets. However, if you set them on the middle of the rod, the track for the curtain move will be blocked.

This rod is a great deal. It looks fabulous and was a bargain. I was worried that the finials would be cheap, but are not at all. It is sturdily holding up three panels in our living room.
